Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac care experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients and their families
• Assess patient needs, develop individualized plans of care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on changing conditions and priorities
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions safely and accurately
• Develop specialized skills in cardiac care, including telemetry monitoring
• Educate patients and families on self-care, recovery, and lifestyle changes to support healing after discharge
• Promote comfort, safety, emotional support, and a healing environment for every patient
• Maintain infection prevention standards, follow safety protocols, and support quality improvement efforts
• Document assessments, interventions, education, and patient responses thoroughly and accurately
