• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Location: Albany, NY 12208
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with a floating day off; no weekends or holidays
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• On-Call Requirement: Approximately 3-4 times per month from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
• Hours per Week: 40

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Operating Room nursing experience
• Epic experience required
• Ability to work a travel assignment in an onsite surgical setting
• Comfortable with on-call coverage as scheduled
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and support throughout the perioperative process
• Assist surgical teams in the operating room to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Monitor patients closely before, during, and after surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Respond professionally to changing patient needs and priorities in a fast-paced OR environment
• Participate in on-call coverage according to the assigned schedule
