Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Neuro-progressive, stepdown, PCU, or ICU experience required
• Epic experience required
• Ability to complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
• Comfortable working in a rotating med-surg environment as needed
• Strong professional communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with complex needs
• Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic)
• Maintain a calm, organized approach in a fast-paced unit
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate bedside care
