Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered healthcare environment
• Knowledge of maternal health, patient education, safety protocols, and perioperative support principles
• Physical ability to meet the demands of a clinical nursing role

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients throughout the continuum of care
• Perform thorough maternal assessments and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support patient education and family engagement before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with nursing standards and unit protocols
• Follow patient safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and labor and delivery nursing procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, professional care in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital setting
