• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Weekly Commitment: 48 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent cardiac, stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, post-procedure recovery, and acute care nursing
• Experience with medication titration, IV therapy, and infusion management
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfort supporting adult and older adult patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patients using the nursing process to guide individualized care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Provide care for patients before and after CABG and interventional cardiac procedures
• Manage sheaths, closure devices, specialized drips, and medication titration as needed
• Assist with procedures and therapies including ACT testing, sedation, pain management, chest tube care, and central line support
• Deliver safe, accurate IV therapy, infusion therapy, and nutritional support such as TPN/PPN
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure excellent outcomes and a smooth patient recovery
