• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830–$1,930
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling with every other or every third weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:3.5
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Equipment/Systems: Pyxis
• Float: Required
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required
• Experience with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred
• Ability to work confidently in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Professional references required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients with urgent and emergent medical needs
• Perform rapid triage and assess patients across all age groups in the emergency department
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to dysrhythmias and other critical changes in condition
• Administer emergency medications and support procedural sedation as directed
• Care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, pediatric, and behavioral health patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support efficient, patient-centered emergency care
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and help promote smooth patient flow in a busy ED
