Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Previous Level I Trauma Center experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification from AHA required
- PALS or ENPC equivalency required
- TNCC required
- Strong Epic electronic medical record experience required
- Availability for every other weekend and designated holiday coverage
- Must have been separated from the system for 6 months to be eligible
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent medical needs
- Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver timely interventions
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, and medication administration in Epic
- Respond effectively in high-pressure situations with strong clinical judgment and calm communication
- Support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the emergency department
- Deliver compassionate care to patients and families during stressful moments
