Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Previous Level I Trauma Center experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA required
• PALS or ENPC equivalency required
• TNCC required
• Strong Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Availability for every other weekend and designated holiday coverage
• Must have been separated from the system for 6 months to be eligible

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent medical needs
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver timely interventions
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and medication administration in Epic
• Respond effectively in high-pressure situations with strong clinical judgment and calm communication
• Support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the emergency department
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and families during stressful moments
