Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NRP certification required
  • Cerner and Fetalink experience must be listed on the resume
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a high-acuity clinical setting
  • Prior experience in women’s health, maternal care, or obstetric nursing is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate labor and delivery nursing care to mothers and newborns
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
  • Assist with admissions, assessments, labor support, and patient education
  • Support physicians and providers during deliveries and urgent clinical situations
  • Document patient care accurately in EMR systems, including Cerner
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
  • Maintain a calm, professional presence during night shift operations
