- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 - $3,190
Job Requirements
- Active, valid RN license in the state of Wyoming
- Previous registered nurse experience preferred
- Special care nursery and NICU experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- PALS certification required if caring for pediatric patients
- ACLS certification required if performing circulating or recovery room duties for C-sections
- Ability to complete Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring within the first year after orientation
- Ability to complete Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring within three years of labor orientation
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Support mothers, newborns, and pediatric patients throughout the care process
- Educate patients and families based on individual needs
- Transcribe, follow, and implement physician orders and unit protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary staff while maintaining accountability for care delivery
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all patient interactions
- Adapt quickly in a rotating-shift environment while prioritizing patient safety
