This travel Registered Nurse opportunity is ideal for an experienced telemetry RN with neuro and stroke care skills seeking strong pay, a 19-week contract, and a Coastal Virginia lifestyle close to beaches, waterways, parks, and outdoor recreation.

- Schedule Options: 3x12s or 4x12s

- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Required Coverage: Every other weekend, holidays, and two of three winter holidays
Job Requirements
- Active Virginia RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic electronic health record proficiency required
- Experience caring for neurology and stroke patients in an acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to work with a typical patient ratio of 1:7
- Must be comfortable with floating, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass required EKG testing
- Submission must include requested time off and all required compliance documents
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients with neuro and stroke needs
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Support patients with common Med/Surg Tele interventions and treatments
- Collaborate with respiratory, IV, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strong clinical standards
- Adapt to a busy unit environment while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in required orientation and complete pre-start modules as directed
