• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,870 - $3,020
• Call Requirement: 2-4 weeknight call shifts and 1-2 weekend call periods per 4-week schedule
• Unit Focus: Adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery
• Orientation: Onsite orientation included

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR RN experience
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Active Michigan RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CNOR certifications required
• Strong scrub experience with a demonstrated skill level of 3 or 4
• Experience with high-acuity cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases preferred
• Ability to work rotating day and evening shifts
• Two manager or supervisor references required
• Ability to begin with no requested time off during the first week of contract

Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Assist with adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Support complex surgical cases including CABG, valve procedures, ECMO, transplant, VATS, EVAR, and more
• Perform scrub duties and maintain readiness for a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the OR team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
• Maintain excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
• Follow all unit protocols, safety standards, and sterile technique practices
