Job Requirements

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• One manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate during orientation
• Must meet all compliance requirements, including timely background check and fingerprint processing
• Strong telemetry skills and confidence working in a medical-surgical acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document patient progress accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support recovery and discharge planning
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, communication, and clinical quality
• Adapt quickly to unit workflow and provide reliable support during night shifts
