Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Crisis Intervention certification required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced behavioral health environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in a Behavioral Health and Psychiatric care setting
• Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, document care accurately, and maintain a therapeutic milieu
• Use strong de-escalation, crisis intervention, and patient safety skills to support behavioral health patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols, charting standards, and clinical documentation requirements
• Deliver high-quality overnight nursing care with professionalism, empathy, and clinical judgment
