• Position: Travel Med/Surg RN
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Setting: High-acuity Med/Surg / Respiratory Care Unit
• Location: Concord, New Hampshire
• Start Date: 8/31/2026 or 9/8/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Shifts per Week: About 3 shifts
• Unit Size: 20 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Float: May be asked to float within the regional hospital network

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg and/or Telemetry RN experience
• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact State
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS required prior to start
• NIHSS certification needed prior to start
• Skills checklist that matches the specialty
• Updated resume reflecting relevant Med/Surg nursing experience
• Driver’s license with an address matching demographics
• Willingness to complete a dysrhythmia exam during onboarding
• Cerner experience preferred, but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, renal failure, bowel obstruction, wounds, and more
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized treatment plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and unit protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuity of care
• Adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while delivering compassionate patient care
• Contribute to a team-focused unit culture with strong clinical communication
