Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU RN experience
• Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment
• Meditech experience preferred
• PICU experience preferred
• PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to newborns in the NICU
• Monitor patient status and respond to changing clinical needs
• Assist with procedures including intubations, chest tubes, and pneumothorax taps
• Manage medication administration, IVs, blood administration, and blood draws
• Support deliveries and attend high-risk births as part of the NICU team
• Communicate effectively during handoffs and coordinate care with providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit standards and protocols
