Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU RN experience
- Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment
- Meditech experience preferred
- PICU experience preferred
- PALS preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to newborns in the NICU
- Monitor patient status and respond to changing clinical needs
- Assist with procedures including intubations, chest tubes, and pneumothorax taps
- Manage medication administration, IVs, blood administration, and blood draws
- Support deliveries and attend high-risk births as part of the NICU team
- Communicate effectively during handoffs and coordinate care with providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit standards and protocols
