Job Requirements
- Active multi-state RN license or current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- At least 1 year of ICU, critical care, or adult acute care nursing experience
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong understanding of disease state management, clinical pathways, and the biopsychosocial model
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to analyze clinical and numerical data with strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient condition and ICU unit guidelines
- Prioritize patient needs and respond effectively to changing clinical situations in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care
- Provide patient and family education and support discharge planning as needed
- Communicate clearly with internal and external care team members
- Support quality improvement efforts, education initiatives, and mandatory training requirements
- Complete variance reports and maintain professional nursing standards
