Travel Nurse Job Details
- Position: Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
- Location: Bozeman, MT 59715

- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Schedule Note: May require flexibility for weekends, after-hours needs, and occasional on-call support

Mother/Baby RN Job Requirements
- Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- STABLE certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, with recertification every 2 years
- At least 1 year of RN experience preferred
- Experience in Mother/Baby, postpartum, antepartum, labor and delivery, or women’s health nursing preferred
- Ability to practice modified primary nursing and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Willingness to float as needed for patient safety and team support
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered postpartum care to mothers and newborns
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Implement, evaluate, and document nursing interventions and patient outcomes
- Support patient education and family teaching throughout the postpartum recovery process
- Collaborate closely with physicians, neonatal staff, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain safe, high-quality nursing practice aligned with current standards and hospital protocols
- Respond appropriately to changing patient needs and clinical priorities
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient experiences
- Participate in required education, skills validation, and competency maintenance
