Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Perinatal RN or Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Active Colorado RN license, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; may be obtained upon hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
• STABLE Learner certification required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe, evidence-based maternal and newborn care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assist with deliveries and support physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team during obstetric procedures
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in accordance with established protocols and best practices
• Educate patients and families on labor expectations, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding support, and newborn care
• Collaborate closely with the care team to promote positive outcomes for mothers and babies
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety, quality care, and clinical excellence
