Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract in Minot, North Dakota

• Unit: Medical-Surgical Adult
• Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts only
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Weekend Requirement: 2 out of 4 weekends
• Additional Requirements: Floating required; no call
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week

Job Requirements

• 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota, or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required to start
• Cerner experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt quickly in a patient-centered acute care setting
• Comfort working an alternating schedule with three days off between shift changes

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient conditions, monitor progress, and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and efficiently using Cerner
• Float as needed within the organization to support patient care needs
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a busy acute care environment
