We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Durant, OK. This opportunity is ideal for a confident bedside nurse who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment, collaborates well with the interdisciplinary team, and delivers high-quality patient care.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680-$1,770
- Specialty: Med/Surg Nursing

- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week

- Schedule Notes: Floating required; no call required
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of start date
- Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to floating assignments
- Experience with Cerner preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and escalate concerns as needed
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to support patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Support a patient ratio consistent with unit needs and provide strong clinical judgment in a busy inpatient environment
- Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining high standards of patient care
