Travel RN opportunity in Spokane, Washington for an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse with neuroscience and Epic charting experience. Join a fast-paced acute care team providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric neuro telemetry patients in the Inland Northwest.

• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: Not required
• Float Requirement: May float between units as needed
• Charting System: Epic required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,950

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Compact RN license required at submission, if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Neuroscience or neuro telemetry experience required
• Experience with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Epic experience is a hard stop requirement
• Comfort caring for post-surgical neurology patients and other neurological diagnoses
• Ability to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for neuroscience and telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for post-operative neurology patients
• Support patients with a variety of neurological and cerebrovascular diagnoses
• Perform ongoing neurological assessments, including NIHSS evaluations
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Document patient care accurately in Epic
• Adapt to unit needs and provide support across nearby sister units when required
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment
