Job Details

• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Schedule: Day and night coverage with rotating weekends
• Start Date: August 20, 2026
• End Date: November 19, 2026
• Location: Live Oak, Texas 78233, near San Antonio

Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Meditech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Support critical interventions including conscious sedation, intubation assistance, sepsis protocols, and stroke response
• Provide care for chest pain, behavioral health watch, and other urgent or emergent cases as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs while following unit guidelines, floating expectations, and clinical protocols
• Promote a safe, professional, and patient-centered care environment in the Emergency Department
