• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility within the last (2) two years
• Telemetry experience required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Pharmacology exam must be passed prior to start date
• Basic Arrhythmia exam must be passed prior to start date
• ACLS preferred
• BSN preferred
• Experience caring for cardiac patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses closely in a med/surg telemetry setting
• Document accurate, timely, and thorough patient assessments throughout the hospital stay
• Develop and communicate plans of care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide charge nurse support when needed and demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Use computerized nursing informatics systems effectively
• Serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff education
• Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold safety and infection control standards
• Maintain professional growth through ongoing learning and development
• Protect patient confidentiality and represent the unit with professionalism and compassion
