Job Details
- Position: Operating Room RN / OR Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Location: Moab, Utah
- Start Date: 08/20/2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Call: Rotating on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Care
Job Requirements
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- At least 1 year of operating room, perioperative, pre-op, or PACU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile procedures, and infection prevention
- Solid understanding of patient safety, surgical precautions, and OR workflows
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure situations
- Available to take approximately 7-9 days of call per month with a 20-minute response time
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures as an Operating Room RN
- Circulate a variety of general, orthopedic, and OB cases, including C-sections
- Support pre-operative and PACU workflows as needed
- Assist with trauma cases in the emergency setting when required
- Maintain safe, sterile, and efficient perioperative nursing practices
- Respond quickly and accurately in a rural healthcare environment with changing priorities
- Deliver compassionate, detail-oriented patient care to support positive outcomes
- Contribute as a dependable team member in both routine and emergency situations
