Job Details

• Position: Operating Room RN / OR Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Location: Moab, Utah
• Start Date: 08/20/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Call: Rotating on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Care

Job Requirements

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• At least 1 year of operating room, perioperative, pre-op, or PACU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile procedures, and infection prevention
• Solid understanding of patient safety, surgical precautions, and OR workflows
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure situations
• Available to take approximately 7-9 days of call per month with a 20-minute response time

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures as an Operating Room RN
• Circulate a variety of general, orthopedic, and OB cases, including C-sections
• Support pre-operative and PACU workflows as needed
• Assist with trauma cases in the emergency setting when required
• Maintain safe, sterile, and efficient perioperative nursing practices
• Respond quickly and accurately in a rural healthcare environment with changing priorities
• Deliver compassionate, detail-oriented patient care to support positive outcomes
• Contribute as a dependable team member in both routine and emergency situations
