• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Pattern: Variable schedule with on-call expectations
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370

Job Requirements

• Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) provider certification
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course completion or equivalent AWHONN-approved training
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Ability to circulate in Labor & Delivery
• Willingness to float to Mother Baby and assist with couplets
• Ability to float to other units as a safety companion when needed
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in Labor & Delivery
• Collect and analyze patient data to guide assessments, clinical decisions, and interventions
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care for maternity patients
• Support safe, effective, and compassionate patient and family education
• Circulate during procedures as needed
• Float to Mother Baby to care for couplets and support unit needs
• Assist other hospital units as a safety companion when assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain professional standards, clinical competency, and timely completion of required education
• Promote a safe environment and respond appropriately in a busy clinical setting
