Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift in Lander, WY

Travel Med/Surg RN opportunity in Lander, Wyoming! Join a 13-week acute care assignment in a scenic mountain community and provide hands-on, patient-centered nursing care on 12-hour night shifts. Job Requirements

• Active Wyoming RN license or multistate RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Ability to work confidently in a dynamic acute care and hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor vital signs, patient conditions, and specialized equipment
• Support pre- and post-surgical patients with attentive bedside care
• Initiate IVs, change dressings, and assist with catheter care as needed
• Educate patients and families on recovery, home care, and self-management
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and urgent situations
• Document care thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Participate in discharge planning and promote positive patient outcomes
