Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active RN license or eligibility to practice as a Registered Nurse in the assigned state
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification
- Experience with antepartum and high-risk Labor & Delivery patients preferred
- Mom/baby or couplet care experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a team-based healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and emergency obstetric patients
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Support cesarean sections and cerclage procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, compassionate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation using the unit’s charting systems
- Deliver care in accordance with unit policies, clinical standards, and patient safety practices
- Remain flexible, organized, and effective while caring for a variety of patient acuity levels
