Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience working in a busy hospital recovery room or PACU setting
• Comfortable using Meditech preferred
• Flexible with scheduling and able to adapt to unit needs
• Strong communication skills and a calm, patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate post-anesthesia recovery care to surgical patients
• Monitor vital signs, assess recovery progress, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Support patients recovering from procedures such as craniotomies and orthopedic cases
• Collaborate with the surgical and perioperative team to ensure smooth patient transitions
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a professional, steady presence in a high-acuity recovery environment
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned
