Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Location: Mansfield, OH 44903
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Floating: Travelers are first to float across Emergency Department locations as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in any U.S. state or compact license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• TNCC preferred
• ASLS preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience caring for 4-5 patients at a time
• Ability to work in a Level II trauma environment preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to adult, pediatric, adolescent, infant, neonate, and geriatric patients
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions in the Emergency Room
• Support care for patients with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory distress, chest pain, abdominal pain, and other urgent concerns
• Monitor and manage IV therapy, blood products, dysrhythmias, ventilated patients, and procedural sedation when needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, ED technicians, and interdisciplinary support teams to coordinate timely, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow established clinical protocols
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy, high-volume Emergency Department
• Support patient safety, efficient patient flow, and a positive care experience throughout every shift
