ER RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience required
• Preferred: 2+ years of ER nursing experience
• Preferred: Meditech EHR experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a calm, adaptable approach

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and fellow nurses to support safe, efficient care
• Provide high-quality treatment for a broad range of emergency cases
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Respond quickly and professionally to changing patient conditions
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment
