ER RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience required
- Preferred: 2+ years of ER nursing experience
- Preferred: Meditech EHR experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a calm, adaptable approach
Emergency Department Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and fellow nurses to support safe, efficient care
- Provide high-quality treatment for a broad range of emergency cases
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Respond quickly and professionally to changing patient conditions
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment
