• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Weekend / Call: Every other weekend or as needed; call as needed
• Float: May float to similar Med/Surg units as needed
• Location: Gallatin, Tennessee

Job Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification
• Experience with IV insertion
• Ability to work effectively in a professional, collaborative healthcare team
• Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced acute care unit caring for patients of all ages

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Medical-Surgical Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry readings, assess patient conditions, and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform IV insertion and other routine nursing interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach throughout the travel assignment
