Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Mason City, Iowa 50401
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Emergency Department or ER nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills in an acute care environment
• Must meet onboarding and compliance requirements for this travel nursing assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to Emergency Department patients
• Perform patient assessments, monitor changes in condition, and respond to urgent care needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support timely patient care decisions
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency room setting
