Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shifts per Week: 3

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team
• Experience supporting adult patients with complex medical needs preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within the required timeframe and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Coordinate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support continuity of care
• Deliver patient and family education throughout the plan of care and in preparation for discharge
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patient rehabilitation goals and promote positive clinical outcomes in the LTAC setting
• Delegate and supervise ancillary staff appropriately while maintaining patient safety
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient unit environment
• Participate in professional growth and ongoing learning opportunities
