• Weekends: Required per facility needs, every other weekend
• Float: May be required between units and nearby sister facilities
• Orientation: Provided prior to start

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license required; compact RN license must be in hand at submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong background in Medical-Surgical nursing; neuro experience preferred
• Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and float as needed
• Ability to support patients with CVA, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgical needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to Medical-Surgical and rehabilitation patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Provide care for patients requiring isolation precautions, oxygen support, peripheral line management, and rapid response escalation when needed
• Adapt quickly to changing patient assignments and unit needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Uphold professional standards while contributing to a supportive team culture
