• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
• Charting System: EPIC
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Floating: May be required within scope

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record charting required
• Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients in a busy ER setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Ability to float within scope as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor and manage patients with complex medical, psychiatric, and trauma-related needs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as indicated
• Support rapid response care for stroke, chest pain, respiratory distress, and trauma cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other clinical teams
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care environment
