• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), with occasional earlier start times
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Setting: Level I trauma center, high-volume operating room
• Location: Aurora, CO 80045

• Unit Focus: General surgery, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastics
• Float Requirement: May float to other operating rooms as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of operating room nursing experience
• Prior Level I or Level II trauma center experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Active RN license eligible for Colorado practice
• AHA BLS certification required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Ability to circulate emergent craniotomies and other complex surgical cases
• Strong experience with a broad range of surgical specialties and high-acuity patients
• Must be comfortable with a flexible schedule and occasional start-time changes

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled circulating nursing care in a busy operating room environment
• Support a wide variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastics
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Adapt to high-acuity trauma cases and evolving patient care needs in a Level I trauma center
• Float to other OR areas within scope to support facility needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
• Promote patient safety, teamwork, and excellent intraoperative outcomes
• Contribute to a fast-moving surgical unit where clinical expertise and calm decision-making are highly valued
