Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• 18 months of permanent PCU/Stepdown nursing experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• All required credentials must be active and verified prior to start

RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care and stepdown environment
• Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions according to care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Maintain professionalism, strong communication, and clinical excellence throughout the travel assignment
• Complete orientation requirements, assessments, and unit-based expectations as assigned
