Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- 18 months of permanent PCU/Stepdown nursing experience required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
- Must be available to work every other holiday
- All required credentials must be active and verified prior to start
RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care and stepdown environment
- Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions according to care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
- Maintain professionalism, strong communication, and clinical excellence throughout the travel assignment
- Complete orientation requirements, assessments, and unit-based expectations as assigned
