Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department, ER nursing, or acute care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS or ENPC equivalent required
• TNCC required
• Epic experience required
• BSN preferred; associate degree candidates may be considered
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments in the Emergency Department
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in a fast-paced ER setting
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate response to therapies
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support efficient patient flow
• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Document care clearly and accurately in the electronic health record
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a high-acuity, dynamic environment
