Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department, ER nursing, or acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS or ENPC equivalent required
- TNCC required
- Epic experience required
- BSN preferred; associate degree candidates may be considered
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments in the Emergency Department
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in a fast-paced ER setting
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate response to therapies
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support efficient patient flow
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Document care clearly and accurately in the electronic health record
- Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a high-acuity, dynamic environment
