We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in an intermediate care setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a dynamic hospital environment, values teamwork, and is comfortable caring for patients across both medical telemetry and step-down areas.

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,310 - $2,440

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred in intermediate care, step-down, or med-tele settings
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience caring for patients with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry
• Strong assessment skills and comfort working with medically complex adult patients
• Ability to adapt to floating between unit areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in both medical telemetry and intermediate care settings
• Monitor and manage patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions requiring close observation
• Support care for patients experiencing conditions such as COPD exacerbation, sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure, GI bleeding, and related diagnoses
• Administer and titrate care for patients requiring advanced respiratory support and cardiac drips
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Float between areas of the unit when needed and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced acute care environment
