• Shift Times: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
• Rotation: Day/night rotation with a minimum of 48 night hours every 4 weeks
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday during the contract period
• Additional Details: May be floated to PICU or assigned 1:1 care as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
• Experience in a high-acuity neonatal care setting preferred
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
• Comfortable caring for critically ill neonates and supporting advanced patient needs
• Flexibility to assist with PICU coverage or 1:1 assignments when needed
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to newborns in the NICU
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary neonatal care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support families with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication
• Adapt to unit needs, including possible PICU or 1:1 assignment support
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment
