• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 - $2,080

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the appropriate state
• Minimum 2 years of bedside nursing experience
• ICU experience or strong clinical skills appropriate for an LTACH setting
• BLS certification required before first shift
• ACLS certification required before first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative care team

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and follow individualized plans of care for LTAC patients
• Identify teaching needs and patient/family goals based on assessment findings
• Provide timely updates for initial and weekly interdisciplinary team conferences
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and support direct care needs
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education early in the admission process
• Communicate changes in patient status to physicians, charge nurses, and care team members
• Delegate and supervise ancillary nursing staff appropriately
• Promote patient, staff, and environmental safety at all times
• Support unit teamwork, supply awareness, and efficient use of resources
• Participate in professional growth and ongoing learning opportunities
