• Floating: Between High Risk and L&D
• Availability: Open availability required; no blocked scheduling

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications in hand
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Experience in high-risk, high-acuity maternal and women's health care settings
• Supervisory reference within the last year required
• Flu vaccine required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and high-risk perinatal patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency obstetric interventions
• Monitor and manage patients receiving magnesium, insulin, and PCA infusions
• Support labor inductions, spontaneous labor, epidural management, and newborn recovery care
• Care for high-risk pregnancies and complicated postpartum patients
• Perform fetal monitoring and respond to changes in fetal heart rate patterns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication throughout the shift
