This 13-week travel nursing assignment is an excellent opportunity for a confident ER RN who thrives in a high-volume Emergency Department environment. You will support rapid assessments, triage, trauma care, and patient monitoring while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Location: Round Rock, TX 78681
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Rotating weekends; no call required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680-$1,770 per week
• Start Date: Available for a 2026 start

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with MEDITECH preferred
• Trauma nursing experience preferred
• Inpatient or holding experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, prioritization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage support, and ongoing clinical monitoring
• Assist with trauma care, resuscitation, airway support, and central monitoring
• Support procedures such as splinting, EKGs, central lines, and use of rapid infusers
• Deliver compassionate behavioral health de-escalation and patient-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies, safety standards, and emergency department protocols
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and professional ER nursing environment
