This 13-week travel nursing assignment is an excellent opportunity for a confident ER RN who thrives in a high-volume Emergency Department environment. You will support rapid assessments, triage, trauma care, and patient monitoring while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Job Details
- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Setting: Emergency Department
- Location: Round Rock, TX 78681
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Rotating weekends; no call required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680-$1,770 per week
- Start Date: Available for a 2026 start
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with MEDITECH preferred
- Trauma nursing experience preferred
- Inpatient or holding experience preferred
- CPI certification preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, prioritization, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage support, and ongoing clinical monitoring
- Assist with trauma care, resuscitation, airway support, and central monitoring
- Support procedures such as splinting, EKGs, central lines, and use of rapid infusers
- Deliver compassionate behavioral health de-escalation and patient-centered care
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies, safety standards, and emergency department protocols
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and professional ER nursing environment
