- Position: Med/Surg RN (Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139
- Start Date: September 15, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend with rotating holidays; no block scheduling
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 - $2,410
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Strong references and an up-to-date resume demonstrating relevant registered nurse experience
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in a busy acute care setting
- Administer medications and therapies, including antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood products, Lasix, and amiodarone as indicated
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and positive outcomes
- Use clinical equipment and technology such as Pyxis, scanners, bladder scanners, and dopplers
- Float as needed based on unit needs and patient census
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care
