• Position: Med/Surg RN (Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139
• Start Date: September 15, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend with rotating holidays; no block scheduling
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 - $2,410

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Strong references and an up-to-date resume demonstrating relevant registered nurse experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in a busy acute care setting
• Administer medications and therapies, including antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood products, Lasix, and amiodarone as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and positive outcomes
• Use clinical equipment and technology such as Pyxis, scanners, bladder scanners, and dopplers
• Float as needed based on unit needs and patient census
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care
