Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Setting: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule Format: Rotating day/evening/night shifts with holidays, weekends, on-call, and call-back as needed
• Assignment Length: 17 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110-$2,220
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642

Job Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• PACU nursing experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, high-acuity environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to post-operative adult patients in the PACU
• Monitor patients during recovery and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and care team members to support smooth patient transitions
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with unit standards, policies, and best practices
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient updates clearly
• Support a positive, fast-paced Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment with professionalism and reliability
