Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand before the start date
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIHSS and Nursys required with submission
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be comfortable floating between Med/Surg units
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to acceptance
• Ability to complete required compliance items within the expected timeframe

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to adult and geriatric Medical Surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate charting and support continuity of care using Epic when applicable
• Adapt to floating assignments across Med/Surg units as needed
• Deliver professional, patient-centered care in a quality hospital environment
