Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience or acute care nursing experience required
• Experience with spine and orthopedic post-op patients required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, teamwork, and patient-centered communication skills
• Ability to work night shifts in a busy Med/Surg acute care environment
• Must meet travel radius requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care to Med/Surg patients across adult and pediatric populations as assigned
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, document findings, and communicate promptly with the care team
• Provide post-operative nursing care with a focus on spine and orthopedic recovery
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 while prioritizing quality, safety, and efficiency
• Support a respectful, patient-focused care environment during night shift coverage
