Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; 2 years preferred
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused medical-surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Complete timely nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient progress, document interventions, and communicate changes in condition
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and rehabilitation planning
• Support patient and family education focused on recovery, goals, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and care team members to promote continuity of care
• Provide direction and support to ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Prioritize patient safety, effective time management, and quality outcomes
• Contribute to a positive unit culture and ongoing professional growth
