Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Yakima, Washington

Join a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab in Yakima, WA, where your Cath Lab RN expertise will support patients undergoing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers a collaborative procedural environment, 36 guaranteed hours per week, and the opportunity to enjoy sunny Yakima Valley, wine country, and outdoor recreation.

  • On-Call: Weekend and weekday call rotation

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience with conscious sedation administration and patient monitoring
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
  • Knowledge of hemodynamic support and Cath Lab medications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
  • Comfort working with EPIC and Merge EMR systems

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Assist with cardiac diagnostic and interventional cases in the Cath Lab
  • Support care for patients receiving implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, and interventional radiology services
  • Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with clinical standards
  • Track patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the broader cardiovascular care team
  • Promote patient safety through best practices in infection control and radiation protection
  • Provide clear communication and compassionate support to patients and their families
