• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Care Setting: Acute care hospital

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required, including at least 1 travel nursing assignment
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current NIHSS certification from AHA required
• MEDITECH experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
• Ability to float to other acute care areas as needed
• Comfortable working every other weekend and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and unit standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in MEDITECH
• Support unit flow by assisting with floating assignments as needed
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a patient-centered approach throughout the assignment
